Juan Manuel Lopez claims 2nd Division Title

Juan Manuel Lopez is the new WBO Featherweight champion. He defeated champion Steven Luevano via a 7th round TKO. It was Luevano's 6th defense of the WBO Featherweight Belt. Lopez was able to neutralize Luevano's boxing and made Luevano feel his power. With the win, Lopez claims his 2nd division world title and remains undefeated.

Earlier that night, Yuriorkis Gamboa successfully defended his WBA Featherweight belt. With Gamboa and Lopez both winning, will see a Featherweight unification fight next with WBA Featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez vs WBO Featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa? Or will we need to wait for a couple more defenses by both fighters before that happens?
