Latin Fury 13/Pinoy Power III : Donaire vs. Guererro

Yes, you read it right. This is Latin Fury 13 / Pinoy Power 3. A hybrid event for the Latin Fury and the Pinoy Power series. The card will feature former and current Mexican world champions and contenders and former and current Filipino world champions and contenders.

Nonito “The Filipino Flash" Donaire, Jr. will again star in the third edition of Top Rank’s “Pinoy Power" PPV card which will be held on Feb. 13 when he takes on Mexican challenger Gerson Guerrero at the Hilton Casino in Las Vegas.

The four-bout pay-per-view event will feature WBA interim super flyweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire (22-1, 14 KOs) defending his title against top-rated contender Gerson Guerrero (34-8, 26 KOs). WBO Bantamweight champion Fernando “Cochulito” Montiel (39-2-2, 29 KOs) will face Top-10 contender Ciso “Kid Terrible” Morales (14-0, 8 KOs) after Montiel's proposed fight with Z Gorres went to the drain after an unfortunate in-ring accident. Former WBA Flyweight champion and current No. 1 Bantamweight contender Eric “Little Hands of Steel” Morel (41-2, 21 KOs) will take on Two-time world champion Gerry Peñalosa (54-7-2, 34 KOs) in a 12-round WBO Bantamweight title elimination bout, and a 10-round featherweight rumble between world title challengers Mario Santiago (21-1-1, 14 KOs) and Bernabe Concepcion (29-2-1, 17 KOs).

An addition to the packed Latin Fury 13/Pinoy Power III card is promising welterweight Mark Jason Melligen. Melligen (16-2, 12 KO’s) faces a formidable opponent in former WBO super featherweight champion Mike “The Powerful” Anchondo (30-2, 19 KO’s) in an eight round encounter.
