Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana Announced

Reports have spread that WBA Light Welterweight champion Amir Khan is willing to vacate his belt if a fight with WBA Interim Light Welterweight champion Marcos Maidana will be pushed. Boxing fans wants to see the fight and cried that Amir Khan is ducking Marcos Maidana.

Now, the fight between WBA Light Welterweight champion Amir Khan and WBA Interim Light Welterweight champion Marcos Maidana is announced by the WBA. Early reports suggested the fight would take place on the undercard of Roy Jones vs Bernard Hopkins card on the 17th of April yet this seems unlikely as HBO will schedule Khan-Maidana for a later/earlier date. Where and when for the Amir Khan vs Marcos Maidana fight is yet to be finalized.
