Donaire is the WBC and WBO Bantamweight World Champion. He is also the former WBA Super Flyweight Interim World Champion, IBF World Flyweight Champion and IBO World Flyweight Champion. He is also currently rated by The Ring as the number four pound-for-pound boxer in the world. He is currently riding a nine-year, 25-bout winning streak. This includes an IBF/IBO Flyweight title knockout victory of defending champion Vic Darchinyan, and a fourth-round blasting of former WBA Bantamweight champion Wladimir Sidorenko last December and a WBC/WBO Bantamweight fight agains Fernando Montiel where he dispatched Montiel in 2 rounds via TKO, ending Montiel's 25-bout winning streak while also claiming his third world title in as many weight divisions. Omar "El Huracan" Narvaez is an Argentine southpaw professional boxer in the super flyweight (115 lb) division and is the WBO Junior Bantamweight champion. He has an immaculate record of 34-0-2 (19 KOs). He won WBO world flyweight title on July 13, 2002 by a unanimous decision win over Adonis Rivas. He defended that title 16 times with wins surpassing Carlos Monzón's national record of successful defences, holding the record with 15 defences. Omar Narvaez has mostly fought in Argentina and his fight against Donaire will be his US debut.
