UFC 140: Jones vs. Machida is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on December 10, 2011 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
A bout between Lyoto Machida and Phil Davis were linked to this event; however, it was revealed that Davis is still recovering from a knee injury and the bout would not occur.
Jon Jones was scheduled to defend his title agains former teammate and former UFC Light Heavyweight Chamption "Sugar" Rashad Evans, but, a lingering thumb injury cost Evans the potential title bout with Jones for the second time, and Lyoto Machida was moved to the main bout.
UFC 140 will also feature a rematch between former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir and Antonio "Minotauro" Noguiera and a fight between Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Noguiera.
